Illan Meslier 'has played his last Leeds match- fans re-analyse footage

Leeds United fans have stressed that the club "urgently" needs to replace Illan Meslier after their recent game against Hull City.

The Whites threw away a two-goal lead to draw 3-3 at the MKM Stadium as Hull scored twice in the final 10 minutes of the match to rescue a point.

However, fans believed Meslier was to blame for Hull's second goal as he failed to deal with a looping header from a corner which led to a tap in for Abu Kamara.

The Yorkshire giants remain top of the Championship as they sit one point above Burnley, while they have conceded 19 goals in 26 games.

Leeds do boast the best goal difference in the league, but out of the current top three they have let in the highest number of goals.

Meslier is under contract at Elland Road until 2026 and has made 200 appearances for the club since joining in 2020.

Meslier has managed to keep 14 clean sheets this season, but erratic mistakes have led to supporters questioning his longevity as their number one goalkeeper.

The Leeds shot-stopper has been linked with a move to Man United during the January transfer window, which is a decision that could be met positively by supporters.

Supporters claimed that Meslier has "got to go" as they urged the club to bring in another option in January.
