An official Aston Villa bid arriving for Sevilla defender Loïc Badé is considered a matter of time.
That's according to Estadio Deportivo, who say Sevilla need a large sale to help their 'battered accounts' and Badé could be it.
They report that the defender is the 'great candidate' to pack his bags this month. That's because Aston Villa, particularly Monchi, are circling.
He was the 'architect' of the player's move to Sevilla in the first place and now he wants to take him to Aston Villa.
He's now made Badé his 'main objective' and is expected to move once Diego Carlos heads to Fenerbahce. His initial movements for the Frenchman are now ready to go to the next level.
The newspaper explains Monchi was in the box for Sevilla's clash with Valencia last week. A meeting in the club's offices with Victor Orta followed on Tuesday.
Badé's agents were a part of this meeting, as was Damià Vidagany, Monchi's right hand man at Aston Villa.
Orta later insisted no official bid had been made for Badé. But Estadio say 'everything indicates' that will not take long to arrive. In other words, Monchi is lining up his ducks. He’s ready to take Sevilla's best player away before the end of the window.
For what price remains to be seen but it seems they're expecting the worst at Sevilla and Badé will depart for Villa Park at some point.
