Arsenal face Liverpool on Sunday in a game that is incredibly hard to predict.

The north London club head into this game off the back of their first loss of the season against Bournemouth, and they're not in the best of form having failed to win in three of their last six league games.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have won seven of their first eight games this season and are sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League.

The Reds come into this one off the back of an impressive win against Chelsea, a game in which Curtis Jones was incredible.

This match is difficult to predict, but speaking to The Metro, Alan Shearer has shared his verdict on how this one will go.

Alan Shearer predicts Arsenal vs Liverpool

Shearer shared his prediction on how this game will go.

The pundit was unable to pick a winner between the two sides, ultimately stating that this one would end in a score draw.

Interestingly, Graham Potter also predicted a draw between Arsenal and Liverpool this weekend.

"We said last week that Liverpool will face a huge test in Chelsea and they're about to face an even bigger test in Arsenal, away from home, which makes it even more difficult," Shearer wrote."

"However, whatever tests they've had already this season they've passed, and don't be surprised if they pass this one too.

"I'd be shocked if Curtis Jones wasn't the first name on the team sheet. It would be difficult to understand if you put in the performance like he did last week, get man of the match and the winner, to be then left out the following week. I'd be amazed if he wasn't in the XI.

"I'm going to sit on the fence here though and say it'll be a score draw in a fantastic game at the Emirates."

Who will be missing for Arsenal?

Arsenal head into this game with a depleted squad due to injuries and suspensions, so, which players will be absent here.

William Saliba can't play due to suspension, while Martin Odegaard remains sidelined with injury.

Bukayo Saka and Riccardo Calafiori are also doubts heading into this game, while Jurrien Timber has been suffering from injury as of late.

Meanwhile, Liverpool should have what is close to a fully fit XI. Trent Alexander-Arnold has been playing through injury recently, but he should be available for selection here.

Arsenal and Liverpool are two very well-matched sides, but the fact that Arsenal head into this game with so many injury and suspension issues may well sway this match in Liverpool's favour.

This is bound to be a very interesting match between two top clubs who have ambitions of winning the Premier League title this season.
