'It's A Big Call' - Stefan Borson: Liverpool may consider '£30m' offer

Liverpool would likely consider an offer worth up to £30million from Real Madrid for star defender Trent Alexander-Arnold in January.
That is the view of finance expert Stefan Borson, who exclusively told Football Insider there will be a price the Merseyside giants would be willing to accept for the England international this month if he plans to leave for free this summer.
Alexander-Arnold could be heading into his final six months at Anfield as his contract is due to expire in June 2025.
Real Madrid have been long-term admirers of the 26-year-old and are keen to sign him following Dani Carvajal's serious injury blow.
The La Liga giants are understood to be prepared to agree a £20million deal for the right-back in January despite him being available on a free this summer.
Football Insider revealed on 3 January Liverpool are unlikely to sell Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid this month.

But Borson admitted the Merseysiders would likely think twice about a £30million offer if the defender tells them he plans to leave for free in the summer.
He told Football Insider: "If he tells Liverpool he's definitely leaving in the summer for nothing, at some point there is a price.
"At the end of the day, the equation is pretty simple for Liverpool if he is definitely leaving.
"If he is definitely leaving, do you want to take £25-30million now, and not have him for four or five months of the season? You would think probably not.
"You would probably just keep him and take the upside of actually trying to win these things with him in the squad.
"It's quite a big financial call to say no to £30million when it's for five months of the season. I can't see Real Madrid offering more than £30million.
"That's probably the ultimate decision for Liverpool, and that's only if he says he's definitely leaving.
"We don't know yet, but if he is leaving and someone offers you £30million, I would say you are going to have to think twice about it.
"But I think much below that you would probably just say 'No, we'll let it play out, keep the player and see what happens'."
