Tottenham Hotspur take on Chelsea in this evening Premier League fixture at Stamford Bridge.

It's now looking like last-chance saloon for Spurs now with regards to their hopes of qualifying for next season's Champions League.

Tottenham's derby defeat to Arsenal at the weekend was their second loss in a row, leaving them seven points adrift of fourth-placed Aston Villa.

If Spurs win both of their games in hand on the Villans, they'll be just one point behind them with three games to go, but it should go without saying that tonight is crucial for them.

Meanwhile, injury-hit Chelsea continue to struggle and, unless they can turn their form around, another below-par league placing could be on the cards after last season’s 12th-placed finish.

However, the Blues can still qualify for the Europa League this season, as they sit six points behind sixth-placed Manchester United. Tonight’s fixture is their game in hand on the Red Devils.

In terms of team news, Chelsea are currently without a staggering 14 players for the Tottenham match.

Which Chelsea players are absent for the Tottenham fixture?

Chelsea have been dealt two fresh injury blows, with Thiago Silva and Axel Disasi now absent for the Spurs clash.

Mauricio Pochettino told the Chelsea media team on Wednesday: “It's not good news because we cannot recover any players in the last week.

“Only we need to add two more players, Thiago and Disasi. They will not be available for tomorrow.”

The “amazing” Thiago and the “complete” Disasi will be a big miss for a Blues side that hasn’t had its best starting XI available for most of the season.

Chelsea are without Thiago, Disasi, Wesley Fofana, Levi Colwill, Reece James, Malo Gusto, and Ben Chilwell.

In addition, Romeo Lavia, Enzo Fernandez, Lesley Ugochukwu, Christopher Nkunku, Raheem Sterling, Carney Chukwuemeka and Robert Sanchez are also working their way back from fitness issues.

Which Tottenham players are set to miss the Chelsea game?

On-loan Tottenham forward Timo Werner will miss the remainder of the season due to a hamstring issue.

Ben Davies also seems unlikely to play again this term after suffering a calf injury, while Oliver Skipp is a doubt due to a knock.

Destiny Udogie, Fraser Forster, Ryan Sessegnon and Manor Solomon are also set to miss out.
