Jack Butland sends two-word message to Rangers fans that sums it up perfectly

Rangers goalkeeper Jack Butland took to social media to send a message to the fans after their 2-1 Europa League win over Union St.Gilloise on Thursday (January 30).

The 31-year-old played the full 90 minutes as Philippe Clement’s side secured a spot in the Europa League round of 16 with an eighth-placed finish in the new-look league phase.

Butland has now played three consecutive games after being rushed to hospital with internal bleeding earlier in the month.

Nicolas Raskin opened the scoring for Rangers in the 21st minute, heading James Tavernier’s pin-point cross into the back of the net after a well-worked corner routine.

Vaclav Cerny doubled their lead at Ibrox just after halftime with a close-range effort thanks to a fantastic run and ball from Cyriel Dessers.

Kevin Mac Allister, brother of Liverpool midfielder Alexis, got one back for the visitors in the 89th minute, but it was too little too late, and Rangers held on for the win.
