Jack Grealish may have played his last game for Man City after Savinho's standout performance against West Ham, fans have claimed.
The Englishman was on the bench as Pep Guardiola's side went 2-0 up by half-time in their 4 January clash with the Hammers.
Savinho started on the left wing, a position Guardiola has frequently rotated this season, and the Brazilian made the most of his opportunity.
He played a key role in the first goal. His cross deflected off Vladimír Coufal and found the back of the net to make it 1-0.
Although he won't be credited with an assist for that goal, he certainly did earn one for City's second. Savinho showed his explosive wing play, skipping past West Ham defenders before delivering a perfect cross to Erling Haaland as City went on to record a big win.

Fans praised Savinho's performance on social media. They noted how his skills and creativity were matched with end product, which many feel Grealish has struggled to achieve.
He has come under scrutiny from fans this season due to his lacklustre performances. The former Aston Villa man failed to register a single goal for Guardiola’s team in the league throughout 2024.
There have even been reports linking him with a move to Tottenham, although his wages could prove a stumbling block.
Even before Savinho's brilliant performance, City had been preparing for a potential departure. Football Insider revealed that the club would listen to offers for him at the end of the season due to his poor form.
Savinho has struggled with output for most of the season, scoring his first goal against Leicester on 29 December.
However, fans are willing to remain patient with the 20-year-old, especially as Grealish's position seems closer to the exit door following his recent display.
One fan suggested that Savinho "might've just closed the door on Jack Grealish remaining a City player”, while another agreed, saying he is "never playing again”.
Another fan went further, claiming that the Brazilian has already "done more in half a season than Grealish has in three and a half seasons”.
