Jadon Sancho responds to Raheem Sterling's message after his omission

Chelsea star Jadon Sancho has taken to social media to send a message to Arsenal loanee Raheem Sterling as the race for the Premier League title heats up.
Sancho, 24, has managed to find some form since leaving Man United for Chelsea on transfer deadline day, starting nine of his 13 appearances across all competitions, scoring two goals, and providing five assists in 769 minutes of action.
Enzo Maresca has transformed the West London club into a title contender whether he wants to admit it or not, guiding Chelsea to second with 10 wins, five draws, and two defeats from their 17 Premier League games.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of their Boxing Day clash with rivals Fulham, Maresca once again down-played their chances of winning the title.
The Italian said: “The main focus is how we can improve the players and how we can improve the team. It is not about the (title) pressure for the players or for the club or for me, it is just the reality.
“The reality says we are second at the halfway point, so the table does reflect the teams. But Liverpool have done a fantastic job since the first day, and the squad has lived that kind of moment, winning a trophy, which is important. We are happy to be where we are."

Sterling, 30, who left Chelsea for their North London rivals on transfer deadline day has struggled to make much of an impact at Arsenal, starting just five of his 11 games across all competitions, scoring one goal, and providing two assists in 426 minutes of action.
The left-winger has since been sidelined for the next few weeks after picking up a hamstring injury while in training ahead of their impressive 5-1 Premier League win over Crystal Palace and will miss their game with Ipswich Town on Friday (December 27).
Arsenal sit in third, one point behind Chelsea and five behind league leaders Liverpool in the race for the Premier League title.
When asked about Arsenal’s role in the title race after the game, Mikel Arteta told Sky Sports: “We are not even halfway. We are going to try certainly. For us, it’s on!”
The two players were able to put their club allegiances to one side on Christmas day, with Sancho responding to Sterling’s latest Instagram post, an image of himself with his young family, with a love heart emoji.
Arsenal’s game against Ipswich is their last in December with Arteta’s side due to travel to Brentford on New Years Day (January 1).
A win for Chelsea over Fulham would see Maresca’s side solidify the second spot while a defeat would give Arsenal the chance to leapfrog them.
