Nottingham Forest’s Ola Aina has become an important part of the side since last season.

He’s played regularly for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side this season, featuring in all seven games and playing close to 600 minutes of first-team football already.

Aina previously had a stint in Italy with Torino and there is now a chance that he could return to the country.

Gazzetta dello Sport state AS Roma are keeping an eye on the Nottingham Forest player and could make a January move.

He is seen as a 'reassuring' profile to bolster the club’s full-back areas, with a host of other players still settling into a new country or still adapting to the tactical setup at Roma.

The Forest defender’s current deal at the club runs out in the summer of 2025 and the feeling is that he could be valued at between €12m and €15m right now.

The Giallorossi like him for his physical attributes and for how he is always very reliable at winning the ball back, with manager Ivan Juric having managed him at Torino in the past.

The feeling is that Aina could fit in at Roma quite easily because he’s played in Italy before and because of his familiarity with Juric’s setup.
