West Ham ace Jarrod Bowen has wished the fans a “Merry Christmas” after scoring the only goal in their 1-0 Premier League win over Southampton on Boxing Day (December 26).
The 28-year-old secured a much-needed three points with a true poacher’s finish, latching on to
Niclas Fullkrug’s flick to tap home.
West Ham’s win over Southampton sees them leapfrog Ruben Amorim’s struggling Man United side into 14th, nine points above the relegation zone.
Julen Lopetegui’s side are undefeated in their last four Premier League games, including draws against high-flying Bournemouth and Brighton.

The England international has once again been key for his club, starting all 20 of his appearances across all competitions, scoring six goals, and providing four assists in his 1767 minutes of action.
Bowen delivered the perfect Christmas gift to West Ham fans with a crucial three points, later taking to Instagram to celebrate the victory with a simple message: “Merry Christmas.”
The East London club host league leaders Liverpool in their last game of 2024 on Sunday (December 29) as they seek to put further distance between themselves and the relegation zone.
Lopetegui’s side have a tough run of fixtures in the new year, facing Man City, Aston Villa, and Fulham in their first three games.
