Jose Mourinho targeting Nottingham Forest central defender – Transfer talks commenced

According to a claim in the Turkish media, Fenerbahce are showing interest in Nottingham Forest owned defender David Carmo.
The 25-year-old is currently on loan with Olympiacos after signing for Forest from Porto during the last transfer window.
A Spor today report on the latest developments regarding Fenerbahce's pursuit for a central defender, with Mourinho making it one of his priorities in this window. In November, the Portuguese coach lost Jayden Oosterwolde to a long-term knee injury and is keen to bring in a replacement.
A number of centre-backs have been linked with the Istanbul side in recent weeks and now it seems Carmo is the latest player they will target this month.
It's claimed transfer talks have already commenced to sign the Forest man, but there are no details if they are looking for a loan or permanent transfer.
Manchester United's Victor Lindelöf and Aston Villa's Diego Carlos have also been linked with the Super Lig giants in recent weeks.
Carmo has made 14 appearances for Olympiacos this season and also had a loan spell with the Greek side in the last campaign when he was with Porto. He's contracted to Nottingham Forest until June 2029.
