Jude Bellingham was in high spirits as England wrapped up preparations for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

Thomas Tuchel's long-awaited first match as England manager is set to take place at Wembley on 21 March against Albania at Wembley Stadium.

However, the Tuchel has already faced criticism from fans after omitting Morgan Gibbs-White in favour of players like Jordan Henderson in his first squad.

Following an injury to Cole Palmer, the Nottingham Forest midfielder was later called up to the side, easing some of the backlash.

One player whose place in the team was never in doubt is Bellingham, who is enjoying another outstanding season at Real Madrid.

After Bellingham responded to Gibbs-White's call-up on his social media post, the Real Madrid man has now shared a message of his own.

Jude Bellingham embraces 'new era' under Thomas Tuchel amid Eddie Howe rumours

The midfielder shared a message on Instagram alongside images from England's latest training session, captioning the post: "New era" with a lion emoji.

Several teammates, including Declan Rice and James Maddison, reacted to the post, while Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers replied: "Serious plot."

Rogers has been one of Villa's standout performers this season, making his England call-up no surprise.

However, despite Tuchel's tenure only just beginning, discussions about his potential successor are already emerging. Given the German has only signed a contract running until the end of the 2026 World Cup, speculation about who could replace him has already gained traction.

Eddie Howe has been heavily linked to replace Tuchel, and after leading Newcastle to Carabao Cup glory, those rumours are likely to intensify.

Morgan Rogers stakes his claim with England call-up

Despite uncertainty over Tuchel's long-term future, one thing is certain—he is the man to lead England into the next major tournament, and Rogers is a player who has certainly caught his attention.

With 12 goals and seven assists this season, Rogers has proven his quality at Aston Villa, and his potential link-up with Bellingham is something that will excite not just fans, but Tuchel himself.

The England boss will be hoping that whatever 'plot' they have in mind can be executed when they take on Albania on 21 March.
