Jurgen Klopp claim: new Ruben Amorim warning from Liverpool legend

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has taken to social media to compare Ruben Amorim to Graham Potter ahead of their game with Man United on Sunday (January 5).
In a comment piece with the Telegraph, the 46-year-old believes Amorim is in danger of ending up like Graham Potter, who was sacked by Chelsea after just eight months.
Amorim has failed to get Man United going since taking over from Erik ten Hag in November, winning four, drawing one, and losing six of his 11 games at the helm.
The 20-time English champions remarkably become the first side in Premier League history to lose five, or more, games in December over two consecutive seasons.
Carragher said: "Amorim's arrival was supposed to echo Jurgen Klopp's at Liverpool, both in terms of the point of the season at which he took over, and the galvanising impact on players and supporters.
“Currently, Amorim's reign has more in common with Graham Potter's brief spell at Chelsea, where a deteriorating situation was made worse.”

Arne Slot has proved to be the perfect replacement for Jurgen Klopp, guiding Liverpool to the top of both the Premier League and the new Champions League league phase.
With Liverpool set to face Man United at Anfield on Sunday, Carragher took to X, formally known as Twitter, to share his article, saying: “Ruben Amorim needs to get results, as we have seen big jobs get away from young managers in the past, eg Graham Potter at Chelsea.”
“But he can't change his whole idea of 3/4/3 otherwise what was the point in bringing him in?”
Defeat to Liverpool would see Man United lose their fourth consecutive Premier League game as they sit closer to the relegation zone than the top four with 22 points from their 19 games.
Amorim’s side will then travel to Arsenal for their first FA Cup game of the season as they seek to somehow salvage a disastrous season.
