'Last minute complications' around player's return to Brighton – Whole transfer adds to doubt over DoF

Valentin Barco's return to Brighton and Hove Albion has been hit by 'last minute complications', the fact that Porto don't seemingly want him.
That's according to Vamos Mi Sevilla, who say the Brighton defender's failed loan spell at the Spanish club has led to further questions being asked of director of football Victor Orta.
The website explains that Barco has been 'another of the failed signings' of Orta's sports management, with the director questioned by everyone, including the club itself.
The Argentine defender has not convinced manager García Pimienta, and the solution was 'breaking his loan' with Brighton and finding another team for him.
Everything appeared to be on course for that to happen but there has been a 'last minute complication' according to journalist Máximo Ramírez and that is Porto, specifically manager Vítor Bruno, doesn't want him.
He's yet to approve of the transfer, leaving Barco training but no longer wanted by Sevilla. The Spanish side are now putting pressure on Brighton to solve the issue as they need to free up a non-EU space to sign striker Juninho.
This tallies with a recent report from Portugal, which stated that the recent reports regarding Porto's interest had been overstated and a move wasn't on the cards.
That means Barco now finds himself in limbo, with Sevilla keen to get rid but Brighton seemingly not that keen on taking him back if they don't have a next destination in mind.
