Leicester ace Jamie Vardy mocks Tottenham in new social media message

Leicester striker Jamie Vardy has seemingly poked some fun at Tottenham in his most recent social media post.
The 37-year-old is rolling back the years at Leicester, starting all 17 of his games across all competitions, scoring six goals, and providing three assists in 1379 minutes of action.
Leicester continued to struggle despite their legendary forward’s fine form and the recent appointment of Ruud van Nistelrooy following the dismissal of Steve Cooper earlier in the season.
The 2015-16 champions currently sit in 19th, with just 11 points from their 19 games having lost four consecutive Premier League matches.
No love lost between Leicester ace Jamie Vardy and Tottenham after recent meeting
Leicester faced Tottenham in their first Premier League games of the season, fresh off the back of their Championship promotion last season.
Pedro Porro opened the scoring for the visitors before Vardy bagged the equaliser, earning an impressive point on his Premier League return.
Vardy was replaced by Stephy Mavididi in the 79th minute, raising one finger and making a circle with his other hand to the Spurs fans who had given him grief throughout the game, symbolising how many more Premier League titles he’s won than the North London club.
In his most recent Instagram post, Vardy shared images commemorating 2024, including a picture from that exact moment against Spurs.
Leicester are two points off relegation rivals Wolves in 17th, with Spurs sitting in 11th, winless in their last three Premier League games.
The two sides will meet again at the end of January, with Vardy’s side traveling to North London on the 26th as they seek to remain in the English top flight.
