Manchester United are looking to maintain their improved run of form when they take on Leicester City at the King Power Stadium this weekend.

Ruben Amorim's side held Arsenal to a 1-1 draw last weekend in a game they will feel they should have won before turning in another much-improved display against Real Sociedad in the Europa League on Thursday.

Focus now shifts back to domestic matters in their final game before the international break. Lisandro Martinez and Amad Diallo remain long-term absentees with no indication of when Luke Shaw will be available again.

But Amorim has suggested Mason Mount could have a role to play this weekend.

The former Chelsea midfielder has not featured since December with his manager desperate to get him into the side. Amorim confirmed on Friday Mount will make the bench, claiming even 'just five minutes of Mason Mount is perfect.'

Leny Yoro was forced off in the draw with Arsenal, missing the win over Real Sociedad with his ankle injury also ruling him out on Sunday – although his manager insists it is not a long-term issue.

His absence could hand another opportunity to Ayden Heaven, who replaced the Frenchman against the Gunners last week.

The defender enjoyed a fine full debut in United colours midweek and will be hopeful of keeping his place in the side ahead of Victor Lindelof.

Harry Maguire meanwhile is expected to return the squad having missed the last three games.

Manuel Ugarte was back on the bench at Old Trafford against Real Sociedad and is expected to return to come back in and replace Casemiro.

Patrick Dorgu meanwhile will miss out as he serves the final game of his three-match suspension for the straight red card he was shown against Ipswich.

Kobbie Mainoo remains out with hope he will be available for the game against Nottingham Forest following the international break with Altay Bayindir and Jonny Evans also still absent.

How United could line up this weekend…

This will be United's fourth meeting with Leicester this season. Ruud van Nistelrooy led them to two of those victories during his brief spell as interim boss in the reverse league fixture and Carabao Cup game before taking up the Foxes job in November.

United needed a very late, and very contentious, winner from Harry Maguire to see off Sunday's opposition in an FA Cup fourth round tie in February.

Predicted Man Utd XI to face Leicester

Onana, de Ligt, Maguire, Heaven, Mazraoui, Ugarte, Fernandes, Dalot, Zirkzee, Garnacho, Hojlund
