Liverpool fans have urged Arne Slot to replace Alisson Becker after his latest Premier League performance on Tuesday (14 January).

The Reds drew 1-1 against title rivals Nottingham Forest, with Slot's team having to come back from behind after Chris Wood scored in the sixth minute.

It was a goal that Reds fans felt the Brazil international could have done better with from a goalkeeping perspective, which led to calls for him to be dropped.

Alisson has faced 15 shots since he returned from injury this season and has conceded nine of them.

The 32-year-old is under contract at Anfield until 2027, but he faces serious competition to be the starting goalkeeper from Caoimhin Kelleher.

The Liverpool number two has kept three clean sheets in his eight Premier League appearances this season, and he has become a more prominent figure in the team due to Alisson's recent injury problems.

Alisson has played 16 games this season in all competitions, keeping seven clean sheets and conceding 13 goals.

Liverpool fans have claimed that Alisson has "been shocking" as others stated his "confidence needs a serious boost."

The problem is, both Slot & Klopp have told him he's No1 regardless, and I don't think that's a good idea. Nobody's place in the team should be guaranteed. We were rock solid with Kelleher in goal at the start of the season, but now we're dropping points and conceding too many.
