Liverpool fans have a lot to say about Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappe after watching him at Anfield

In what was a brilliant night of football at Anfield, Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe didn't do too much to enhance his reputation in the face of Liverpool.
Before he moved to Madrid, Mbappe was linked to Liverpool, he was thought to be a kind of player that Jurgen Klopp would love to bring to Merseyside.
Of course, Klopp has now been replaced by Arne Slot and Mbappe is playing his football in Spain, something Liverpool fans seemed fairly relieved about during their 2-0 win.
Just like Mohamed Salah, Mbappe fluffed his big moment, he wasn't able to convert his penalty at Anfield.
In fairness, Caoimin Kelleher deserves credit for an excellent save, but the France captain certainly gave him a chance.
Surprisingly, Liverpool are willing to sell Kelleher – a debate for another day.
Liverpool fans share their view on Kylian Mbappe vs Conor Bradley
All that considered, Liverpool fans took to X during their win against Madrid to share their reviews of Mbappe's performance.
Mbappe was a forlorn figure on the left-wing, struggling to cut inside or take Conor Bradley on down the line.

One Liverpool fan described Madrid's star signing as 'washed', saying he missed a 'gifted' chance from 12-yards.
"Kylian Mbappe is washed, man. How can you miss a gifted penalty at Anfield?"
Another supporter watching on exclaimed how Mbappe had been pocketed by Bradley throughout the 90 minutes, who was playing with so much passion.
Sticking with the theme of Bradley dominating Mbappe, one fan even mentioned how Virgil van Dijk took care of the Galatico in the first half.
"Kylian Mbappe has had a TORRID time against Liverpool this evening!
"Conor Bradley has dominated the Frenchman with Virgil van Dijk very much extending the nightmare on Anfield Road."
Kylian Mbappe’s record against Liverpool
Wednesday evening's trip to Anfield was actually the third time that Mbappe has faced Liverpool in his career to date.
The 25-year-old played against Liverpool twice in 2018 in the Champions League whilst turning out for Paris Saint-Germain.
And in a 3-2 defeat at Anfield, owing to goals from Daniel Sturridge, James Milner and Roberto Firmino, Mbappe did actually score one of PSG's two goals, which was assisted by Neymar.
Otherwise, Mbappe has had little success against the side who now sit top of the Premier League and Champions League.
Another brilliant night in Slot's debut season, that keeps going from strength to strength.
