Dominik Szboszlai’s first season at Liverpool returned less goals than some expected, with him scoring three times in the Premier League and four in other competitions.

It certainly wasn’t a bad return, but more si expected and Arne Slot is working to get those goals from his player.

The 23-year-old picked up a goal against AC Milan in the Champions League this week, the first time he’s scored so far this season.

There is now a hope in Hungary that this could be the season the midfielder truly reaches his potential at club level.

Blikk have looked at the ex-RB Leipzig man's season so far, praising his performance at the San Siro and they spoke to former Liverpool goalkeeper Adam Bogdan about the midfielder.

Szboszlai’s compatriot tipped him to rack up over ten goals and assists this season.

“Only he can say how he feels in his new role, but from the outside he seems to be enjoying the game."

"I think he will get above ten goals and assists this season."

The outlet also note how the Hungary star’s role has changed under new manager Slot, who makes sure that the midfielder operates further forward than he used to under Jurgen Klopp.

That is helping Szoboszlai, who can create and score goals more often than he could last season.
