Hugo Ekitike has been linked to a number of Premier League clubs, and Man United fans have now reacted to an update regarding a potential move.
Man United's struggles in attack have been well-documented, with Rasmus Hojlund only recently breaking a 20-game goal drought and Joshua Zirkzee failing to make a significant impact.
As a result, the club is expected to focus on strengthening their attacking options in the summer.

Man United keeping an eye on Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike
Chris Wheeler of the Daily Mail recently revealed that the Red Devils are "admiring" Frankfurt striker Ekitike and are closely “monitoring” him ahead of the summer transfer window.
Ekitike has also attracted interest from Newcastle, who could turn to him as a potential replacement for Alexander Isak, should the Swedish striker decide to leave.
Newcastle have been long-term admirers of Ekitike, attempting to sign him in January 2022, and again in 2023 while he was still at PSG. The 22-year-old has enjoyed an impressive season at Frankfurt, netting 19 goals and providing eight assists in 38 appearances across all competitions.

Man United fans slam Ekitike who is 'worse than Hojlund'
While Frankfurt aren't under pressure to sell, given Ekitike's permanent move to the club just last summer and his long-term contract running until 2029, a move from top Premier League clubs like Newcastle and Man United could prove difficult for the forward to resist.
However, the reaction from some Man United fans has been less than enthusiastic. Many supporters have expressed their reluctance to bring in another young striker, especially with Hojlund and Zirkzee already on the books. Some Man United supporters have even called for Hojlund to be sold, which could open up space for a new addition like Ekitike.
Despite the need for a new striker, the fans' sentiment is clear—there's a desire for experience in attack. One fan commented, "We need proven strikers, not these upcoming teenagers” while another said, "He's worse than Rasmus." It seems as though United supporters are looking for a more established figure to lead the line next season.
