Man United fans have been left stunned by Ayden Heaven after his performance in the Premier League clash v Leicester at the King Power Stadium.

Ruben Amorim’s side took all three points in a 3-0 win away from home after Rasmus Hojlund’s first league goal since December sent them into half-time 1-0 up.

Alejandro Garnacho’s second-half strike saw United extend their league before Bruno Fernandes rounded off an excellent victory in the 90th minute.

However, the travelling fans’ attentions were fixed squarely on Heaven as the 18-year-old centre-back turned in yet another top class performance.

A last-ditch tackle on Patson Daka to prevent him running through on goal was followed up by a goal-saving block to keep United’s lead in tact.

Against Leicester, he was thrust into the starting XI for the first time and didn’t look at all out of place, leading to heavy praise form the United fans.

There was some major concern, though, as Heaven was stretchered off shortly after half-time with what looked to be a serious injury.

Arsenal asking questions after Ayden Heaven’s displays

Man United signed Heaven for £1.5million from Arsenal in January, in a major coup for the Red Devils to secure a highly-rated young player from a rival.

The ex-Arsenal academy star made his debut under Amorim in the FA Cup defeat to Fulham before making his first Premier League appearance against his former club.

Former United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider on 3 March that Arsenal are asking serious questions about Heaven’s exit amid “major concern” at the Emirates.

Alongside Heaven, Chido Obi-Martin also swapped the Emirates for Old Trafford despite expectation that he would have been given a first-team chance under Mikel Arteta.

One top of Biereth, Obi-Martin and Heaven, the likes of Omari Hutchinson, Charlie Patino and Reuell Walters have all left in search of increased opportunities in recent years.

However, United are now reaping the rewards of Arsenal’s problems.

This is not the first time the defender has been singled out for praise after United fans were wowed by Heaven v Arsenal on his Premier League debut.

His performance against Leicester, however, has seen the praise ramp up yet again as fans are insisting he could retain his starting place in the side.

Taking to social media during the Leicester clash, fans expressed their admiration for Heaven as they labelled him “outrageous” and “immense”.
