Marcus Rashford remained upbeat on social media despite facing criticism in his recent performances for England.
Rashford started back-to-back matches in England's World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Latvia, as Thomas Tuchel kicked off his tenure with two wins.
It was his first start for the national team since November 2023, but he struggled to make a significant impact.
Tuchel openly criticised both Rashford and Phil Foden for their lack of influence against Albania, though the Aston Villa winger was still handed another start against Latvia.
He showed flashes of danger on the break but failed to find the net, leading to frustration among England fans towards Rashford, who were quick to voice their disappointment.
Despite the criticism, the winger had a message for supporters after the win and the international break before heading back to Aston Villa.
Harry Kane and Declan Rice show support for Marcus Rashford after England update
Rashford took to Instagram after England's victory over Latvia, posting: "2 wins in 2 games. Thank you for the support."
His post drew plenty of reactions from teammates, with Morgan Rogers commenting "Rashy" and both Declan Rice and Harry Kane among those leaving likes.
However, his international break wasn't without controversy. Former PGMOL chief Keith Hackett told Football Insider that the Rashford should have been cautioned for "an act of simulation" in England's 3-0 win over Latvia.
He went down in the penalty area after driving forward but saw his claims for a spot-kick waved away by the referee.

Aston Villa fans push for permanent Marcus Rashford transfer
Despite criticism over his England performances, he has rediscovered his form at club level since joining Aston Villa on loan.
Aston Villa fans are calling for the club to sign Rashford permanently after his strong run of performances, with the winger providing four assists in nine appearances.
However, Manchester United have increased Rashford’s asking price following his return to form and recall to the England squad.
If he wants to cement his place in the national team, he will need to improve on the international stage—but continuing to impress for Villa will only strengthen his case.
