Marcus Rashford shared an update on social media from a training session as Aston Villa prepare to face Preston North End.
Rashford has quickly become a fan favourite at Villa, with supporters ready for the club to sign the winger permanently in the summer, albeit after only starting four matches.
The England international joins Marco Asensio, on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, in becoming a key part of Unai Emery’s side as the Villans aim to secure a top-four league finish and Champions League success.
Another piece of silverware that could arrive at Villa Park is the FA Cup, next taking on Preston in the quarter-finals on Sunday, 30 March, before potentially setting up a semi-final clash.

Rashford took to his Instagram story [27 March] to share an image of himself being put through drills before the Villans travel to Deepdale to face their Championship opponents.
The Man United loanee started both of England’s games during the international break, being subbed off for the final 15 and 10 minutes against Albania and Latvia, respectively.

Villa’s last major trophy came in 1996, beating Leeds to the League Cup, and fans have been expecting more from their club as the drought continues at Villa Park.
Of course, with a top-four finish on the cards, and possibly two trophies in the Champions League and FA Cup, Emery has now been linked with a surprise move to Man United.

PSG (H) | Champions League |
Rashford and Asensio have certainly helped the Villans’ fortunes this season, with Ollie Watkins, Morgan Rogers, John McGinn and Emi Martinez still all performing for Emery.
Bypassing PSG in the Champions League quarter-final is possibly Villa’s biggest challenge over the last few seasons, and potentially facing Arsenal or Real Madrid in the next round, it gets even more difficult.
With Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan all on the other side of the draw, even if Villa are able to make it to the final, an incredibly tricky game awaits, and so too does the FA Cup final.
