Arsenal and Tottenham face off in the north London derby on Wednesday evening in what is a must-win game for both sides.

Arsenal want to pile the pressure on Liverpool at the top of the table after the Reds dropped points against Nottingham Forest.

Meanwhile, Ange Postecoglou may be trying to save his job at Tottenham.

Postecoglou's job is safe for now, but with Spurs 13th in the table as things stand, questions may soon be asked.

Of course, there's been plenty of build-up to this midweek clash of the titans, and speaking to TNT Sports, Martin Keown has been building his combined XI of Arsenal and Spurs players.

As you can imagine, Keown's team was very one-sided.

Not only are Arsenal way ahead of Spurs in the league right now, Keown also has his own personal biases as a former Arsenal star.

Keown included Dejan Kulusevski in his team, but he made a bold call on the left wing.

Martin Keown picks Gabriel Martinelli over Heung-Min Son

It was hard to argue with most of Keown's picks in this XI.

Indeed, the pundit's reasoning was all very sound, as he picked an Arsenal heavy XI.

However, he picked Gabriel Martinelli over Heung-Min Son on the left-wing, a decision that is bound to be controversial.

The rest of Keown's picks were difficult to disagree with.

However, picking the £6m man over Son is bound to cause a few arguments.

Gabriel Martinelli compared to Heung-Min Son

Keown says he'd rather have Martinelli than Son, and that is a bold shout.

Son isn't having his best season by any stretch of the imagination, but the South Korean is a Premier League legend.

Martinelli also isn't at his best at the moment, and, statistically, Son is still outperforming his Arsenal counterpart.

Son's output is still greater than Martinelli's even if his standards have dropped slightly in recent times.

Even when you compare both players' best seasons, Son comes out on top.

Keown's Arsenal bias may be a factor here as he's gone for Martinelli over Son despite the stats making the case for the opposite argument.

Both players will be looking to make an impact in the north London derby on Wednesday, and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top in this one.
