Arsenal supporters are convinced that they will sign Wolves forward Matheus Cunha after a new report about his future.

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the Brazil international has still not signed a Wolves contract extension despite a verbal agreement taking place two weeks ago.

Final details still need to be clarified in order for the 25-year-old to sign, while it has been confirmed that Arsenal have had him on their list for months.

Football Insider revealed that the Gunners are looking for a Bukayo Saka replacement this month following his injury, and their need to buy an attacker was only strengthened by Gabriel Jesus' recent injury.

Cunha is under contract at Molineux until 2027, but Arsenal and several other clubs are monitoring his ongoing situation.

Cunha has scored 10 goals and provided four assists in 21 Premier League appearances this season, despite the difficulties Wolves are dealing with on the pitch.

The delay in Cunha signing a contract extension with the club is something that is giving hope to Arsenal fans in their desire to bring an attacker to Emirates Stadium this month.

Supporters told the club's hierarchy they "should be all over this," with others urging the Gunners to "make it happen."
