Michail Antonio and League One player forced to miss Jamaica's game with USA for bizarre reason

Michail Antonio will miss Jamaica’s clash with the USA on Monday night for a bizarre reason.
The West Ham striker has been ruled out of the CONCACAF Nations League quarter-final second leg in St. Louis.
Charlton’s Kaheim Dixon is also unavailable to manager Steve McClaren after both players lost their passports.
McClaren explained: “It was too late to get new ones and to get visas to come over here, so they are missing.”
As a result he will be without the pair as the Reggae Boyz look to overturn a 1-0 first leg deficit.
Jamaica will also be without Brentford’s Ethan Pinnock through injury, whilst Mason Holgate is suspended after he was sent off in the first leg.
Antonio has won 21 caps for Jamaica since switching allegiance from England and making his debut in 2021.
Across those matches, the 34-year-old has scored five goals for his country.
However, he was also absent for Thursday’s first leg as he served a yellow card suspension.
Meanwhile, Dixon was an unused sub for the match in Kingston.
The Addicks winger has scored once in nine caps, three of which have come under McClaren.
Jamaica announced the former England boss’ appointment in July on a deal through to the 2026 World Cup.
It is his first managerial job since leaving QPR back in April 2019.
McClaren has since won two of his five matches in charge, with the first leg loss to the USA his only defeat.
His side are set to resume their World Cup qualifying campaign in June with matches against the British Virgin Islands and Guatemala.
Jamaica currently sit second in their group, with the top two advancing to the third and final round of CONCACAF qualifying.
