'Mohamed Salah is 100% staying at Liverpool' after Sergio Aguero reveal

Mohamed Salah's Liverpool contract status remains up in the air, but fans believe he is now remaining at the football club after an unexpected source has revealed information about his future.

Salah's contract is up at the end of this season, and the Egypt international will be free to speak to foreign clubs about a potential move in January.

Football Insider revealed that Liverpool plans to thrash out an agreement over a new contract with Salah as they want to make a breakthrough soon, and former Man City star Sergio Aguero has given fans a surprising update on the situation.

Aguero told Stake.com, as reported by FourFourTwo, "I've read a little about this over the past few hours, as I understand, Salah's renewed [his] contract with Liverpool for two more seasons.

"This should clear all doubts about his future, he remains a key player and a fresh contract is the best news Liverpool could receive."

The 32-year-old is having an influential season under Arne Slot so far, scoring 16 goals and providing 13 assists across 23 appearances this season.
