Mohamed Salah is one of the world's best players and he is now the third-highest Liverpool goalscorer ever.
The Egyptian superstar moved to Anfield from Roma for £37million in June 2017 and has gone from strength to strength since, with his consistency in the Premier League something to behold.
He scored an incredible 44 goals in his first season with the Reds and netted the opener in their Champions League final win over Tottenham in the 2018/19 season.
Salah has since taken his tally for the club to well over 200 goals and he has made himself a Liverpool legend, overtaking icon Billy Liddell to join the Reds’ top three scorers of all time.
This campaign, at the age of 32 and with his future up in the air, he incredibly continues to star and break records, with his impact on Arne Slot’s team pivotal.
It was during this season that he made Premier League history by becoming the first player ever to record 10 goals and 10 assists before Christmas, as his form reached new levels.
On top of that, he also overtook Harry Kane, Thierry Henry and Alan Shearer to set a new record by reaching eight games in which he has scored or provided an assist.
Salah is now considered one of the Premier League’s greats, but his time in England may be coming to an end soon as his contract at Liverpool runs out this summer.
He has consistently been posting cryptic social media posts and commenting on his future to the media in recent months, and that has led to major worries that he will be leaving Anfield.
Of course, Reds fans don’t want their superstar to depart, especially in the form he is in at the moment.
The supporters were used to often belting out his name around their famous stadium, however, with his future in doubt, the frequency of these chants has only increased.
The most common of the Salah songs, The Egyptian King, was first played at pubs around Anfield after their 4-3 win over Manchester City in January 2018.
To the tune of 'Oh Sit Down' by James, the song's lyrics are:
"Mo Salah! Mo Salah! Mo Salah! Running down the wing.
"Mo Salah la-la-la la-ahh, The Egyptian King!"
A newer Salah chant, I'll be Muslim too, was given the seal of approval by the star winger.
Sung to Dodgy's 'Good Enough', the lyrics are:
“If he’s good enough for you, he’s good enough for me.
“If he scores another few, then I’ll be Muslim too.
“If he’s good enough for you, he’s good enough for me.
“Sitting in the mosque, that’s where I wanna be!
“Mo Salah-la-la-la, la-la-la-la-la-la-la.”
Another popular Salah chant has been put to the tune of 'You Are My Sunshine' and goes:
“Mohamed Salah, a gift from Allah.
“He came from Roma to Liverpool.
“He’s always scoring, it’s almost boring.
“So please don’t take Mohamed away.”
