Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo has sent a message to fans after the 2-2 draw with Bournemouth.

The 23-year-old played 81 minutes against the Cherries (14 January), as Blues boss Enzo Maresca used him in an unfamiliar position at right-back.

Cole Palmer opened the scoring on the 13th minute for Chelsea with an audacious dummy, sitting down Cherries goalkeeper Mark Travers, before calmly slotting home.

Justin Kluivert then scored from the penalty spot to level for the away side on the 50th minute.

Bournemouth then took the lead through an unstoppable strike from Antoine Semenyo in the 68th minute.

Reece James broke the hearts of the travelling fans as the Chelsea captain found the back of the net from a free-kick in the 92nd minute.

Despite the disappointment for Bournemouth, they extend their unbeaten league run to an impressive nine games.

Whilst Bournemouth’s results are on an upwards trend, for the Blues, the opposite is true.

Maresca’s men are now winless in five consecutive games and have struggled against teams that they should be winning.

The Argentinean manager’s reaction to some of his player’s mistakes during the match were telling, as the former Leicester manager dropped to his knees after a missed shot from Nicolas Jackson.

However, Caicedo is instead looking to put the result behind him and focus on the next game, his post on Instagram is accompanied by the simple, yet effective message: “Keep going.”

Chelsea’s next match will see them take on a struggling Wolves, who were denied a clear penalty in their game against Newcastle (15 January), in their next league game on 20 January.

In other news, this Chelsea star has reacted after being recalled from loan.
