Aston Villa forward Morgan Rogers took to social media to send a message to teammate Jacob Ramsey after their 1-1 Premier League draw with West Ham on Sunday (January 26).

Ramsey, 23, opened the scoring after just eight minutes after a lovely one-two with teammate Ollie Watkins put him through on goal.

West Ham defender Emerson restored parity in the 70th minute, latching on to Edson Alvarez’s floating cross, ensuring the spoils were shared at Villa Park.

Villa’s draw with West Ham sees them climb up to eighth in the Premier League, just four points off fourth-placed Man City in the race for Champions League qualification.

Ramsey has been in and out of the squad this season, starting 12 of his 23 games across all competitions, scoring two goals, and providing two assists in his 1220 minutes of action.

The England international took to Instagram after the draw with West Ham to congratulate Ramsey on his goal, sharing an image of the two, saying: “Twinnn.”
