Aston Villa forward Morgan Rogers has taken to social media to share a training ground update ahead of their FA Cup clash with West Ham on Friday (January 10).

The 22-year-old is in the form of his life so far this season, starting all 25 of his games across all competitions, scoring six goals, and providing four assists in his 2081 minutes of action.

Unai Emery’s side have had a rollercoaster first half of the season, sitting in eighth with nine wins, five draws, six defeats, and 32 points from their 20 Premier League games.

West Ham, on the other hand, have struggled under Julen Lopetegui, winning just one of their last five league games.

According to The BBC, West Ham are now weighing up whether to sack the Spaniard after talks with Graham Potter.

Villa have come on leaps and bounds since Emery took over back in 2022, qualifying for the Champions League last season and once again challenging this campaign.

Rogers took to Instagram to share an image of himself training, as Villa eye a good FA Cup run as another feather in their cap.

Villa have six games remaining in January alone, including Champions League games with Monaco and Scottish champions Celtic.

Emery will turn his attention to the Premier League after the game with West Ham, however, traveling to Sean Dyche’s struggling Everton.
