Newcastle United made it six wins in a row in all competitions as they came from behind to beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 in their Premier League encounter on Saturday.
Spurs opened the scoring early on thanks to Dominic Solanke’s fourth-minute header, but Newcastle equalised just two minutes later through Anthony Gordon.
He scored with a low finish after Tottenham gave the ball away in their own half, with VAR allowing the goal to stand after the ball hit Joelinton’s hand in the build-up.
Alexander Isak then scored what turned out to be the winner for Newcastle in the 38th minute, bundling in from close range for his 13th league goal of the season.
Plenty of Newcastle players shone on the day, with fans making the same point about Tino Livramento during and after the match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
