Newcastle United ace Sven Botman reacts to Alexander Isak announcement

Sven Botman has reacted to the latest announcement on Newcastle United teammate Alexander Isak.
The Sweden international has been in excellent form for the Magpies in recent weeks, helping the club climb to fifth in the Premier League table, and reach the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.
As a result the striker has won the Premier League Player of the Month award for December 2024
Isak certainly shone in the final month of last year, scoring eight goals and providing two assists in six Premier League games (Premier League).
That has proven enough to see the Newcastle talisman win the Player of the Month award for December 2024, the first time he has received the accolade.
Sven Botman hails success of Newcastle teammate
Taking to Instagram to react to news of Isak’s award, Botman was keen to congratulate his St James’ Park teammate.
Sharing the announcement to his story, the Newcastle centre-back also included a pistol – in honour of the striker’s goal celebration – and flames emoji, while also tagging the 25-year-old.
That individual success for Isak has inevitably generated a considerable amount of speculation about his future with Eddie Howe’s side.
Football Insider understands that Arsenal have already made the striker their priority target for the upcoming summer transfer window.
Botman meanwhile has recently made his return to action for Newcastle following a long lay-off due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
After victory over Arsenal in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final in midweek, the Magpies will look to continue their fine form against League Two side Bromley in the FA Cup on Saturday (11 January).
