Last month, it was reported that Newcastle United are interested in signing Real Valladolid’s Juma Bah.

The suggestion was the Magpies will make a January offer and an update has emerged about the situation of the 18-year-old centre-back.

Tuttomercatoweb have reported that while Inter Milan have made contact for the teenager, Newcastle have also 'made moves' for Bah.

As well as Eddie Howe’s side, Manchester City, Chelsea and Bournemouth have also come forward for the talented defender.

The report mentions that Real Valladolid need to raise some cash this month and their valuation for Bah is €15m. It can go lower than that due to the Spanish club’s immediate financial needs.

The indication is that the proposal of a permanent transfer can help Newcastle get ahead of competition and seal a move for the player.

Bah is currently on loan at Real Valladolid from Sierra Leone side AIK Freetong and there has previously been an indication that €14m could be enough for the player. As a result, the African club could stand to earn a big amount from the teenager’s sale.
