Newcastle United planning to 'make an offer' for Magpies' priority target in January

PSV Eindhoven’s Johan Bakayoko has ended up on Newcastle United’s transfer radar for the winter market, according to a report from Belgium.
The winger, who was linked to a few Premier League sides in the summer window, has scored five goals and registered three assists from 17 games this season.
Foot News have a report on Bakayoko, and their title says Newcastle are ‘very interested’ to sign him.
Within the report, it’s made clear this is their own information, and they state the Magpies are looking to strengthen their attack in January, especially with the possibility of losing Miguel Almirón.
Last week, Almirón’s agent Daniel Campos stated his client won’t leave Eddie Howe’s side unless it’s for big money. It’s not clear whether the Paraguayan will continue, but Newcastle are looking at options to strengthen their attack.
It’s claimed the English club have identified Bakayoko as one of their priority targets and are ‘planning to make an offer’ to secure the 21-year-old’s services.
There’s no mention of the fee Newcastle are planning to propose or the Eredivisie side’s demands.
