'No matter what': Jamie Carragher says there's one thing Daniel Levy simply can't do at Tottenham now

Tottenham have had a tumultuous season so far to say the least.
Tottenham have had a really up-and-down campaign. They beat Manchester City 4-0 at the Etihad a few weeks ago, but they have struggled since, dropping points against the likes of Fulham and Bournemouth.
Ange Postecoglou's job is safe, but there is an argument to make that Postecoglou should be sacked.
The Australian's style of play is exciting, and it's great to watch when it goes well, but, more often than not this season, Spurs have been underwhelming.
Speaking on the An Echo of Glory Podcast, Jamie Carragher has been discussing Postecoglou's situation at Spurs, and he says that he doesn't think Postecoglou should be sacked this season under any circumstances.

Ange Postecoglou shouldn't be sacked
Carragher shared his verdict on Postecoglou as a manager.
The pundit rated Postecoglou a seven out of 10 for his job at Spurs so far, and he doesn't think he should be sacked under any circumstances.
"I think I’d be, for me it would be almost like a seven out of 10 situation. I would imagine with the manager, but there’s a couple of other things that you won’t. But you actually sit back and look at the bigger picture and think, you know what, we play attacking football." Carragher said.
"I keep going back to, 'we’ve got our Tottenham back' in some ways, because that felt like a lot of what you used to speak about when you had obviously, you had sort of three managers on the run who were pragmatic. Now they were imperfect, Ange isn’t perfect. And I think in some ways, I think there’s no way Ange should be losing his job at any stage this season, no matter what for me, because I think he had a really good first season."
Ange Postecoglou compared to previous Tottenham managers
Carragher says that Postecoglou shouldn't be sacked under any circumstances. However, the numbers suggest that the Australian is in a precarious position.
Indeed, Postecoglou is performing just as poorly as his predecessors.
Tottenham managers | Games | Wins | Draws | Losses | Win percentage | League position when sacked |
Ange Postecoglou | 66 | 34 | 10 | 22 | 52% | 10th* |
Antonio Conte | 76 | 41 | 12 | 23 | 54% | 4th |
Nuno Espirito Santo | 17 | 9 | 1 | 7 | 53% | 9th |
Jose Mourinho | 86 | 45 | 17 | 24 | 52% | 7th |
Mauricio Pochettino | 293 | 160 | 60 | 73 | 55% | 14th |
Tim Sherwood | 28 | 14 | 4 | 10 | 50% | 6th |
Andre Villas-Boas | 80 | 45 | 18 | 17 | 56% | 7th |
Harry Redknapp | 198 | 98 | 48 | 52 | 49% | 4th |
Yes, Postecoglou's brand of football is more exciting than someone like Antonio Conte or Jose Mourinho, but football is a results-based business at the end of the day.
Conte and Mourinho have a much better CV than Postecoglou, they're managers who have won countless titles in multiple leagues while Postecoglou has never really proven himself at the very top level.
Carragher has backed Postecoglou here, but his results suggest that he should be under a bit more pressure than he actually is.
Posetcoglou needs to step things up, because if results don't improve in the coming weeks, his neck could be on the line.
Carragher doesn't want Levy to sack Postecoglou, but whether or not he listens to the pundit's advice remains to be seen.
