Noni Madueke delivers one-word Dewsbury-Hall verdict amid Chelsea exit talk

Noni Madueke has responded to Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall after the midfielder’s start for Chelsea in their win over Wolves.
It has been a tough time for Dewsbury-Hall since he moved to Stamford Bridge from Leicester City in the summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old has struggled for opportunities in the Premier League, leading to speculation he could already be set to leave the club.

It seems though that Madueke is one who still believes Dewsbury-Hall has the ability required to remain part of Enzo Maresca’s side at Stamford Bridge.

With Romeo Lavia and Enzo Fernandez both absent through injury, Dewsbury-Hall was handed his first Premier League start of the season against Wolves (Soccerway).
The former Leicester man went on to make a considerable impact in that game for Chelsea, providing the assist for Marc Cucurella to put the hosts 2-1 up in that game.
Madueke then got on the scoresheet moments later to seal the win, before paying tribute to the midfielder after that win.
Taking to his Instagram story, Madueke shared a picture of Dewsbury-Hall from the player’s own post, before adding a caption that simply described him as “quality”.

It will be interesting to see if this proves to be a turning point in Dewsbury-Hall’s Chelsea career.
With Fernandez and Lavia out they may be reluctant to let him go and leave themselves too short on options in midfield.
After performances such as this, Maresca may be convinced to give him more opportunities at Stamford Bridge that could further help to quell any speculation around his future, which may lead to him staying.
