Tottenham Hotspur will look to make it six wins in a row in all competitions when they head to Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.

Spurs have turned a corner since their North London derby defeat and have recorded some superb results in that time.

For instance, Tottenham ran out 3-0 winners at Manchester United last week, and they have also made it two wins out of two in the Europa League.

Ange Postecoglou’s charges will be up against a Brighton side that began the season brightly but have since suffered a downturn in form.

Fabian Hurzeler’s side won their first two games, and were unbeaten in their first five matches, but are now four games without a win.

Pundit Chris Sutton has now shared his result prediction for the match at the Amex Stadium.

Chris Sutton predicts 3-3 draw between Brighton and Tottenham

Sutton, writing on BBC Sport, has predicted a thrilling 3-3 draw between Brighton and Tottenham.

He reckons the fixture should be known as the “high-line derby” because of how Postecoglou and Hurzeler line their respective teams up.

With that in mind, Sutton reckons there should be plenty of chances at both ends in a feast for the neutral.

“I love watching Spurs and the same applies to Brighton at the moment,” Sutton said on BBC Sport.

“This should be known as the high-line derby, with the way both teams set up. It will be a great game for the neutral and there should be plenty of chances at both ends.

“Brighton lost for the first time under new manager Fabian Hurzeler last week, so this is about how they respond. Can they cause Tottenham problems? Absolutely.

“For Tottenham, it is about showing consistency after they put in an outstanding performance to beat Manchester United.

“I am expecting goals, but I actually think Brighton will get something out of the game.

“I have always felt that Spurs will soon give someone one hell of a beating sooner or later.

“But they are going to have to wait until after the international break because it is not happening here.”

Brighton v Tottenham team news

Brighton are currently dealing with a significant injury list, with Jan Paul van Hecke the latest to go on the sidelines.

Hurzeler has also been without Joao Pedro, Simon Adingra, James Milner, Solly March and Matty O'Riley.

However, Joel Veltman is set to return after missing the loss at Chelsea through illness.

Tottenham appear likely to be without captain Son Heung-min, who has missed the last two matches with a hamstring injury.

Destiny Udogie came off at Old Trafford last weekend, though is not believed to have suffered a serious issue and could feature.
