Nottingham Forest fans believe the club is set to hijack Arsenal's plans to sign Wolves forward Matheus Cunha in the January transfer window after a new report.
According to the Daily Mail, Forest are interested in making an audacious move for the 25-year-old this month as they want to push to secure Champions League football.
Cunha has attracted top-level interest from teams within the Premier League, but Forest are set to throw their name in the mix in a bid to try and lure
The Wolves forward is under contract until 2027, but the club had been in negotiations with him about extending that deal as a verbal agreement took place two weeks ago.
Nothing has been made official since that stage which has set other teams on red alert, and Forest see him as an option to bolster their attack as they aim to remain in the top four this season.
