Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina has taken to social media to thank the fans for their ‘crazy’ support after their 1-1 draw with Liverpool on Tuesday (January 14).
The 28-year-old played the full 90 minutes as Nuno Espirito Santo’s side secured an impressive point against the Premier League leaders.
Chris Wood opened the scoring after just eight minutes for the visitors, cooly slotting past Alisson in the Liverpool goal after Anthony Elanga's through ball.
Slot’s side dominated the game from there on out, with substitute Diogo Jota eventually bagging the equaliser with his first touch of the game.
Forest continue to surprise, currently sitting in second, with 12 wins, five draws, four defeats and 41 points from their 21 games having fought against relegation last season.

The right-back has been Mr consistent for Forest this season, starting all 21 of his games across all competitions, popping up with two goals, and providing zero assists in his 1826 minutes of action.
Despite his fine form, Aina’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season and has been free to negotiate a pre-agreement deal with foreign clubs since January 1st.
Aina took to Instagram after the draw with Liverpool to thank the fans, saying: “Support was crazy tonight Forest fans. Can’t thank you enough.”
Forest have just two games remaining in January, starting with a visit from bottom-placed Southampton on Sunday (January 19).
Espirito Santo’s side will then travel to in-form Bournemouth for what could prove to be a crucial game for both club’s Champions League ambitions.
