Player finally finds 'serenity' after prolonged Wolves ordeal – Could even return to national side

Italian striker Patrick Cutrone has finally found 'serenity' at Como and put his prolonged misery after joining Wolverhampton Wanderers to bed.

That's according to Il Giorno, who cover the striker today and how he could find himself returning to the national side.

The newspaper explains that Cutrone is already on four goals this season in Serie A for Como, a tally that ties him with the likes of Dusan Vlahovic, Marcus Thuram and Christian Pulisic.

He's enjoying a prolonged spell of form, with it clear last season that he was getting back to the player he was at AC Milan before his ill-fated move to Wolves.

Indeed, he could even be on six goals after missing a penalty and being robbed of another by it being deemed an own goal.

He appears to be flourishing in the system set up by Cesc Fabregas and is getting back to the player who broke through at Milan but had been lost after moving to Wolves in 2019 and the successive failed loan moves that followed.

He even risks becoming a candidate for the Italian national team, particularly as he has also shown that he can play as part of front two also.

The striker is certainly happy and has alluded to that himself in comments, admitting that he maybe lost himself at Wolves and elsewhere.

He's happy and seems to have found his 'serenity', something which has led to him scoring goals and perhaps putting himself in contention for a return to the Italian national team.
