Player's agent clearly pushing West Ham exit as clubs line up for transfer

Brazilian sides Ceará and Fortaleza 'are looking at' West Ham United defender Luizão as he aims to make a return to Brazil.
That's according to GE Globo, who report that both sides are keeping an eye on the 22-year-old ahead of a possible move to get him out of West Ham.
Reports across this week have made it clear that Luizão is keen to leave West Ham in January and make a return to Brazil after failing to break through at the London Stadium since moving in January 2023.
A growing list of Brazilian clubs have been linked with a move in the last few days, with Fortaleza the latest to join it on Thursday. Now Ceará can be added to that group, although GE insist, they have not made an official offer but simply an inquiry about the player.
They add, though, that they have learned that the West Ham defender's staff believes that returning to Brazilian football is ideal for him at this moment in time. West Ham, for their part, will only start negotiations if they receive official offers.
This is the second time the notion of the player's entourage pushing for a return to Brazil has been mentioned in separate reports by different outlets. That would suggest the idea is very much being pushed internally.
Indeed, the West Ham man's agent, Wagner Trentin, has made their position clear in comments to Brazilian media today. So, don't be surprised to hear more about Luizão leaving West Ham in the coming weeks.
