Paraguay coach Gustavo Alfaro has insisted he's not concerned about Miguel Almirón's situation at Newcastle United.
La Nacion cover comments from the Paraguay boss today amid concern in his homeland about a lack of minutes for the 30-year-old so far this season.
Almirón has found himself out of the picture at Newcastle United so far this season, with just three minutes to his name in all competitions to date.
He does not appear to be a part of Eddie Howe's plans moving forwards, with one minute against Bournemouth and Tottenham each the only minutes he's managed in the Premier League to date.
That could be a problem for the national team, where he remains a key player after making his debut for them in September 2015.
He's accumulated 60 games to date and was a regular in the last World Cup qualifying games, playing 82 minutes against Uruguay and then 86 minutes in the 1-0 win over Brazil.
He'll be a part of the squad again in the next international break when they take on Ecuador and Venezuela. Some have naturally questioned that as he's struggling for minutes at Newcastle, but Alfaro is not concerned.
"As long as he performs in the national team, it doesn’t worry me," he said.
"I know that he is very well, with a lot of expectations, going through a very particular situation. Honestly, I was very satisfied with the performance, not only of him, but of all the boys."
