Tottenham Hotspur will look to continue on their good run of form when they head to Manchester United for a huge Premier League clash on Sunday.

Spurs appear to be back on track, having won their last three games in a row in all competitions.

Tottenham suffered from early setbacks in all three encounters, conceding first against Coventry and Brentford, and then having a man sent off against Qarabag.

However, Ange Postecoglou’s charges showed good resolve to turn each of those games around and come out with three consecutive victories.

Now, Tottenham will be taking on a Manchester United outfit that drew their last two games but won the two matches just after the international break.

Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge has now shared some potential “early good news” from Hotspur Way ahead of the match.

Tottenham star Richarlison back out on the Hotspur Way pitch

The news concerns Tottenham striker Richarlison, who has been out since picking up an injury in training before Spurs’ 2-1 defeat at Newcastle United at the start of September.

Last week, Ange Postecoglou told journalists not to ask any more questions about the Brazil international, saying he would provide an update when the moment was right.

However, Bridge has now reported that Richarlison is back out on the grass, suggesting he’s getting closer to a return to fitness.

“That is potentially some early good news for Tottenham, it's early days, but Richarlison is back out on the grass,” Bridge told Sky Sports News.

“Ange said to us last week please no questions on Richarlison, he is not being considered at the moment, he is injured. But that is potentially some good news for Spurs there.”

Could Richarlison return for Tottenham against Manchester United this Sunday?

Richarlison, who came off the bench in their first two games of the season, was initially tipped to potentially return by the end of September, as per the Evening Standard.

Although it looks as though this won’t be the case, it’s good to see him back out on the grass, and hopefully it won’t be too long before he’s available once again.

Postecoglou didn’t provide an update on Richarlison in Friday’s pre-match press conference, only mentioning him in the context of being unavailable (football.london).

With that in mind, it’s extremely unlikely that he’ll feature against Manchester United.
