Liverpool had a really quiet summer transfer window.

The Reds made just one addition in Federico Chiesa and even on the outgoing front, there wasn’t too much movement.

Fabio Carvalho and Joel Matip were the only notable departures, with the former completing a £27m switch to Brentford.

So, perhaps Janaury will be a little more busy around Anfield and with that said, a centre-back is already being linked with a move to the continent.

Inter Milan interested in Jarell Quansah

According to Inter Live, Inter Milan are interested in signing Liverpool centre-back Jarell Quansah ahead of the winter transfer window.

The Serie A outfit are already thinking about signing Quansah next summer and it’s thought a bid of around £16m could be enough to convince The Reds.

The 21-year-old started the opening day win against Ipswich but was dragged off at half-time and hasn’t featured since.

Arne Slot has preferred Ibrahima Konate, so perhaps he’d be willing to offload Quansah in the next window in order to facilitate moves for incomings.

Jarell Quansah worth far more than £16m

The Italian outlet seem to have massively undervalued Quansah as it’d be a big surprise if Liverpool accepted a £16m bid.

The England under-21 international would be able to command a fee in excess of at least £20m if not more.

There was talk of Quansah moving to Newcastle as part of the deal to sign Anthony Gordon, so perhaps the Magpies could reignite their interest, especially considering they failed to land Marc Guehi.

A telling few months await.
