Tottenham Hotspur sent a number of first-teamers on loan over the summer transfer window.

Spurs shipped a whopping seven players out on loan for the season as Ange Postecoglou was keen to trim his squad.

In return, Tottenham added five new recruits, including the statement signing of Dominic Solanke, who joined in a £65m deal from Bournemouth.

Postecoglou will be hoping some of his young players who are out on loan can return and be ready for next season and with that said, one loanee is already really impressing at his new club.

Bryan Gil really impressing at Girona

Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo report that Bryan Gil is ‘getting back to his best’ after enduring a tough time at Tottenham.

The 23-year-old is spending the year at La Liga side Girona and has started eight games out of 11 so far, proving he has the trust of his manager Michel.

Gil is already off the mark with a goal against Osasuna in August and his productive performances have earned him recall to the Spain squad this month.

The Tottenham loanee hasn’t been part of La Roja since 2021, so evidently he’s really catching the eye over in his homenation.

Girona can buy Bryan Gil for £12.5m

According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Gil has a £12.5m release clause in his Spurs contract and Girona have first refusal.

Though, other clubs can still sign Gil as it’s ultimately up to him to agree his next move or he could remain at Spurs.

After all, if he continues to impress, there’s a fair chance he could work his way back into Postecoglou’s plans.
