Report: Arsenal expecting four key players all to return from injury in coming weeks
Today at 08:15 AM
In truth, Mikel Arteta has done a remarkable job of holding Arsenal's season together during their recent injury crisis.
Although Arsenal have fallen out of the FA Cup and surrendered a 2-0 lead to Newcastle United in their Carabao Cup semi-final, they've remained relatively intact in the Premier League.
Liverpool have an obvious advantage over their league rivals, but it's still not impossible that Arsenal could stage a comeback.

Of course, in order to do so, Arteta will either need players to return from injury or he'll need the club to act fast in the transfer market.
Arsenal are chasing a new striker, but it remains to be seen whether they'll get any deals over the line, given their reluctance to compromise their summer plans.
Ben White and Ethan Nwaneri among those ready to provide Arsenal injury boost
That being said, the Telegraph are now reporting that four Arsenal players are close to returning from injury over the 'next few weeks'.
For a brief moment, it looked as if Ethan Nwaneri would be Arsenal's solution to replacing Bukayo Saka on the right side of Arteta’s attack.

But after picking up an injury himself, the youngster is now expected to soon return alongside Ben White, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Riccardo Calafiori.
Bukayo Saka will be further away, but there's no doubt that those four names will be incredibly important for Arsenal in terms of their attempts to still win silverware this season.
It's no exaggeration to suggest that 18-year-old Nwaneri could already be crucial to those hopes given the levels he's displayed in relatively short cameos this season.
Arteta recently confessed that the club would be unable to buy a talent as good as Nwaneri in January, explaining why his return will be so timely.
Mikel Arteta still needs help in January regardless of injury returnees
Of course, Arsenal fans may be concerned that their hopes of winning the league in particular may already be evaporated by the time those names return.
On evidence of recent performances, Arsenal are crying out for an immediate fix up top.
Benjamin Sesko rejected Arsenal in the summer, but perhaps the club could still revisit a deal this month.
Arsenal seem unlikely to buy Dusan Vlahovic, even if the Juventus striker may be free to leave the Italian giants towards the end of the window.
Arteta's most expensive signing in January is currently the £27m the club paid to sign Leandro Trossard in 2023, a record the Arsenal boss is probably willing to smash for the right player.
