Report: Arsenal take young Premier League left-back on trial, he's a 'good crosser of the ball'

Arsenal have made a name for themselves as a club that gives youth a chance with one of the best academies around.
Bukayo Saka has impressed for the Gunners and for England since graduating from Hale End, but he’s by no means the only one to have made the grade.
Eddie Nketiah, Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson have all done well since coming through the Arsenal academy and are still playing Premier League football.
More recently, the likes of Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly have become first-teamers after coming through the ranks at N5.
With Arsenal putting so much focus on their academy these days, it’s important to always be on the lookout for top talents who could be recruited.
Now, according to the Evening Standard, the Gunners have handed a trial to a young Premier League left-back who’s a “good crosser of the ball”.

Wolves gem Lennon Patterson on trial with Arsenal
The London-based newspaper has reported that Arsenal have taken Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Lennon Patterson on trial.
The 17-year-old trained with the Arsenal first-team last week and played for the Under-21 side on Monday, according to the report.
Patterson, a left-back, started for Arsenal Under-21s in their 2-1 defeat to Sunderland and played for 45 minutes before being replaced by Josh Nichols.
Patterson has also been given permission by Wolves to speak to Sheffield United, who are deemed genuine contenders to sign him, added the Standard.
What was said about Patterson in Arsenal U21 appearance
Arsenal youth team expert Jeorge Bird wrote about Patterson in the young Gunners’ Premier League 2 defeat to Sunderland.
He said: “Patterson demonstrated that he is a good crosser of the ball, although he seems more suited to playing as a wing-back than an orthodox left-back.”
Bird also noted in his match report that Patterson made a challenge which resulted in a Sunderland penalty claim, which was turned down.
Tymur Tutierov opened the scoring for Wolves on five minutes and, though Nathan Butler-Oyedeji equalised in the 55th minute, Marcus Neill scored the winner for the Wearside outfite.
