Report: Champions League club are absolutely desperate to sign £25m Tottenham player

Galatasaray are desperate to sign a Tottenham Hotspur player this summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur have made some really exciting additions this summer with promising teenagers Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall joining Ange Postecoglou’s ranks.

Gangwon FC wide player Yang Min-hyuk is expected to be the next addition and then the search for a striker is anticipated to commence.

Though to facilitate the deals they’ll need to offload players and with that said, Galatasaray are desperate to sign one of Spurs’ players.

Galatasaray desperate to sign Emerson Royal

According to Yeni Asir, Turkish champions Galatasaray are absolutely desperate to sign either Emerson Royal or Newcastle United’s Kieran Trippier.

They are eager to find a replacement for Serge Aurier and have identified the two right-backs as their priority targets.

However, at this stage, Emerson seems to be more advanced to join Serie A giants AC Milan, having already agreed upon personal terms.

The Brazilian is intent on joining Milan and is hopeful the two clubs can reach an agreement on the fee.

Emerson Royal sale could facilitate Santiago Giminez deal

Like all clubs around the Premier League, Spurs have to raise funds through player sales to be able to bring more additions in otherwise they could be at risk of breaking PSR regulations – which could lead to a points deduction.

So with that said, once Emerson’s sale is finalised, they could move for Feyenoord striker Santiago Gimenez, whose agent is due to hold talks with the Lilywhites this week.

Gimenez is expected to cost north of £40m, so if they can get around £15m for the former Barcelona man who they paid £25m for, it’d help to pay this summer’s instalments – should it indeed be structured that way.
