Tottenham Hotspur’s summer dealings have mainly consisted of outgoings with only Archie Gray through the door on a permanent deal.

And this could be set to continue as Ange Postecoglou looks to clear his squad of the remaining players who he does not consider part of his plans.

The likes of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg have now been moved on from Tottenham as the Denmark international recently joined Marseille.

There may be some frustration from the Spurs supporters that the same amount of transactions have not been seen when it comes to players arriving at the club.

But it cannot be denied that Daniel Levy and Postecoglou are clearing the squad of the players who have perhaps hung around for a year too long.

One further player could now be set to leave before the end of the week with talks ongoing over his exit.

Tottenham look likely to sanction another sale

Spurs are now in Tokyo, Japan for leg one of their pre-season tour of Asia with a trip to South Korea to follow.

However, the only new signing this summer to be on the trip is 18-year-old Gray after he joined from Leeds United earlier this summer.

Tottenham are close to landing South Korean winger Min-hyuk Yang from Gangwon FC but he would not arrive permanently until January 2025.

But the exits are set to continue in north London with another exit potentially set to be finalised this week.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Girona are now closing in on the signing of Tottenham attacker Bryan Gil.

The Spaniard’s miserable spell in north London could even be over by the end of the week with talks said to be advancing.

However, Girona could potentially be looking to finalise a loan with the option to buy Gil next summer if they like what they see.

The Spanish side are said to be looking at a low-cost option and a loan would likely be the most viable option if they were to bring Gil in.

Tottenham have left Bryan Gil in London to find a new club

With the Spurs squad jetting off for Japan earlier in the week, there were two noteworthy omissions from the squad.

Both Gil and Sergio Reguilon had been left at home in order to take up any transfer interest which was to arrive in them.

Clearly, neither player has a hope of convincing Postecoglou of their value this summer despite Gil having been labelled as ‘fantastic‘.

Considering Gil has now been at Spurs for three years and is yet to find the back of the net, the Spaniard has had ample opportunities to prove his worth and has failed to do so.

Spurs will surely be hoping for a permanent sale, but if they have no other choice but to loan Gil out then Levy has shown in previous seasons that is exactly what he will do.
